Vivitonin

Trade name for Propentofylline. This is a xanthine derivative which increases blood flow to the heart to muscle and to the brain via inhibition of phosphodiesterase. It seems to be a really good drug to try and help the senile behaviour some old dogs and cats show as they age. There seem to be very few side effects.

Our veterinarians are all experienced general practitioners with a broad knowledge and
understanding of animal health, illness and injury.
