This is an ear dressing but is equally at home treating certain skin diseases. It contains the antibiotic Polymyxin B Sulphate, the antifungal Miconazole Nitrate and the anti-inflammatory Prednisolone.
This is a very useful product for ear and some skin infections. It has activity against the very resistant bacterium Pseudomonas Aeruginonsa.
Because it contains a corticosteriod it may sound scary but it is very unlikely to cause trouble in the way we use it. It is suggested that you wear gloves when handling it.
