Propalin Syrup

Propalin is used in the treatment of urinary incontinence associated with urethral sphincter incompetence found in spayed bitches. Its active ingredient is Phenylpropanolamine. The suggested dose is given three times daily and it is said to absorb better when given on an empty stomach. Sometimes twice daily dosing (which is obviously more convenient) will suffice. Various ill effects are described (fully described in the literature inside the treatment package) but these are unusual in our experience.

Our veterinarians are all experienced general practitioners with a broad knowledge and
understanding of animal health, illness and injury.
