Trade name for Marbofloxacin is a wonderful fluroquinalone antibiotic. It is broad spectrum and similar to Baytril. It has less side effects especially so as regarding no ill effects on eyes of cats and joints of young animals. There is also said to be less bacterial resistance to Marbocyl compared with Baytril. We tend to use Baytril more so that we protect Marbocyl for use long into the future.
