This is a modern 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is a very remarkable drug. One injection of it will give therapeutic levels of Cefovecin for 14 whole days. This can be so useful in animals who are difficult to medicate or in situations where the daily dosing of another drug might be impossible.
It is indicated for skin and soft tissue, upper respiratory and urinary tract infections. It is a modern wonder drug. Expensive but useful.
